The OLDS
This was my wife's favorite install. It was a sleeper, and was on its way to becomming a hell of an SQ car. we used equipment from Image dynamics, Precision Power, JL Audio, and Pioneer Premier. Taking a 2nd place at its first event, all other sq trophies for this car were 1st place right up until the day it was lost in a car accident.
The Cheyenne
The truck was the best built for making the points needed to stay in 1st place. The final install incorporated equipment from Pioneer Premier, and MA Audio. The truck was even in the MA Audio booth at a large event in Dallas, Texas. One second place trophy in SQ was recieved when we were beat by two points for 1st. The irony came after the show. We lost almost 8 db in spl, and found a rupture in the box that was responsible. We would still be competing with this truck if it wasn't for flood damage that totaled the truck.
The ES
The first generation of this install included everything from the truck that was NOT ruined in the flooding. MA Audio was so happy with our success record, they offered thier asistance in rounding out the install for the season. Sticking with the original formula, we used Pioneer Premier for the head unit (again), and went with MA Audio everywhere else, except in the kick panels. We had Image dynamics 8" left over from the 1st car, so we used them for the mid range. The vehicle was finished just in time to replace our truck for usac world finals. We knew the car would show well, but knew it wasn't getting close to 1st place. We ended up in last after a bad primary battery shorted during judging. The next install will surely outdo the last.
